Hi. This did not really work.

It was indeed fixed in commit [43e4cec], but then in commit [2ddc3ec]
the fix was mysteriosly undone.

Note: I'm only reopening the "source after build" bug, which is the one
I've tested.

I have not tested the other one, "binary after build", but I would be
surprised if the fix for #1045001 would also fix #1049734, as usually
"ftbfs binary after build"-bugs happen when we remove "too much".
