I was unable to reproduce this on the s390x porterbox (zelenka).

      Start 15: quick_tests/kokkos.debug

      Start 16: quick_tests/kokkos.release
16/46 Test #16: quick_tests/kokkos.release
..................................   Passed    4.18 sec

...

100% tests passed, 0 tests failed out of 46

Total Test time (real) = 4344.00 sec


Although 559 sec is pretty close to the default test timeout of 600
sec.  Matthias suggested doubling the timeout.
