Dear science team.  Would it make sense to give atlas higher priority than blas?</p>
<p dir="ltr">It is very solid, and my benchmarks indicate a speedup by a factor 3.  Apple also ships its osx with atlas, too.</p>
<p dir="ltr">For me, it impacted r performance.   Of course, I know how to fix this for myself, but I am asking on behalf of novices that wonder why osx is so much faster than linux in some scientific apps.<br>
