[Debian-science-sagemath] <DKIM> Sage 8.0

Hi,

note that there are no official transitions required for experimental.
For most of the packages we can just upload them to experimental and if
some other packages that are used by sage need to be rebuilt, we do that
and upload to experimental too. Then we can ask for one big transition
when uploading sage to unstable.

However we should probably do a separate transition if a package has
many other reverse dependencies despite sage. This is the case for ntl
(reverse dependencies: eclib, flint, giac, libzn-poly, linbox, pynac,
sagemath, singular) so here it makes sense to wait with the upload to
experimental to keep the possibility open to do the ntl transition after
uploading sage 8.0 to unstable. Once the freeze is over you could ask to
do the ntl transition and do it directly in unstable I guess.

Best,
Tobias
