It looks like we'd have to backport this ticket, planned for 8.2:
https://trac.sagemath.org/ticket/24262

It's still incomplete, so please don't upload pynac 0.7.13 just yet.

Once it's complete and we find that it's backportable to sage 8.1, then we can upload both.
