[Debian-science-sagemath] Status of sagemath?

Hi,

I worked on it today. The version in git works fine after applying three patches to gap. I filed #916640 to see if Bill wants to apply the patches. The bug contains a debdiff to get a usable gap. After that the only remaining RC bug it the one regarding gdb-python2 (#890231).

Another thing you could look at is ECL. Sébastien Villemot would like to update ECL to 16.1.3 before the buster freeze, but there is no sage patch for this. He uploaded it to experimental for me to test it, but so far I could just see that there are problems...

Best,
Tobias
