For informational purposes, you can do these kind of removal changes
much easier by adding entries in the data/packages/removed-packages
file.  Unfortunately, there are two ways to do this same thing.  At
some point, I would like to remove the <removed> tag as it's more work
(and uglier) to fill that out.
