XMLString::transcode(const char *const toTranscode) aborts with accents 
in UTF-8 locale.
It works well with UTF-16 locale.
It's could be better to replace accents with spaces, or something else.

I don't how can I do otherwise.

I'm closing this bug because it appears to no longer be relevant.  I
can't reproduce it, and newer versions of xerces are available that
have other transcoder fixes.  We've also switched from GNU to native
transcoder to be consistent with other distributions' xerces packages
and haven't had any other transcoder issues since then.
