[xml/sgml-pkgs] Bug#370615: Fails to process aptitude documentation with "missing \endgroup"

  OK, it looks like the problem is this TeX (as reported by the latex
parser; I'm just slow on the uptake):

\item[{\label{id2459048}
\begin{list}{}{\setlength{\itemindent}{-\leftmargin}\setlength{\parsep}{0mm}}
\item\raggedright\texttt{aptitude  update }
\end{list}
}]

  My LaTeX reference is in another state at the moment, but I suspect
TeX is barfing on all those formatting commands stuck into a list item
label. It seems particularly unhappy about the list environment -- if
I strip that out, the document compiles without trouble. It also
compiles fine (unsurprisingly) if I lift the cmdsynopsis out of the
list label. I used to be able to do stuff with TeX, so maybe I can
figure out a working solution later this week...

  I think this is a duplicate of #283499.
