[xml/sgml-pkgs] Bug#368629: LIBXSLT 1.1.12 broken with php 5.0.x
and Apache 2.0.52

Package: libxslt1, libxslt1.1
Version 1.1.12-8
files: libxslt1.1_1.1.12-8_i386.deb, libxslt1.1_1.1.12-8_i386.deb
2 Systems:
Debian Sarge (Linux ... 2.6.9-xenU)
libc6 (2.3.2.ds1-22sarge3)
PHP 5.0.x (.3 on one system, .4 on another)
Apache 2.0.52
On both systems I ran an "apt-get upgrade" command on, which upgraded (among many other things) my 1.1.8 versions of the above packages to 1.1.12. When this occured, my apache would no longer start/stop, but would fail with a message about an undefined symbol:
undefined symbol: xmlNewDocPI
when referring to failing to load modules/libphp5.so
I simply downgraded back to 1.1.8 versions of the two packages, and the problem was resolved. it seems that PHP5 is dependent on an incompatibility with the new 1.1.12 xslt packages.
