The pairing of alpha/mips/mipsel indicates that the package has a problem
building in environments that use sudo as rootcmd.  The most likely culprit
is relying on $(PWD) to be set in the environment, which is not guaranteed;
please use the GNU make variable $(CURDIR) instead.
