[xml/sgml-pkgs] No image files generated for pdfs, rtfs (bugs 275206 and 303110)

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew what was causing these bugs:

I've tripped over them as well, and they've been open almost 1.5-2 years.

Any idea what's going on?
