According to Red Hat's bug 114271 <https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=114271>, this bug corresponds to perl bug 24254 <http://rt.perl.org/rt3/Public/Bug/Display.html?id=24254> and is fixed in upstream's current development version.
