[xml/sgml-pkgs] Bug#487250: libxml2-utils: Writes error to standard output

Package: libxml2-utils
Version: 2.6.27.dfsg-2
Severity: normal

The following command in a terminal

  xmllint --format >foo

produces no output on the terminal. However the file 'foo' contains the usage
message of xmllint. This is bad: the message should have been sent to standard
error (ie the terminal) instead.

Best wishes,

	Gábor Braun
