Nah!   I am the stupid one!  Checked again, everything works.  Did the previous update a few days ago, and caught up with overdue emails.

Hi

I'm running Debian etch.  The updates 

python-libxml2  ver 2.6.27.dfsg-4
libxml2-utils ver 2.6.27.dfsg-4
libxml2 ver 2.6.27.dfsg-4

causes my computer to hang when invoking the Desktop-Preferences-Themes menu item.  Sorry, have no idea how to test everything else to give more details.

I have 2.6.27.dfsg-2 installed, which works fine.
