With this tiny script, I can catch crash with gdb:
PH=/usr/bin/
$PH/xsltproc --nonet -o smb.conf.5 man.xsl smb.conf.5.tmp.xml &
pid=`pgrep xsltproc`; gdb $PH/xsltproc $pid
While it seems helpless:
(gdb) bt
#0 0x000000fff592e83c in ?? ()
