Hi Salvatore, dear libxml2 maintainers,
I just looked at the HTMLparser.c code in libxml2 for squeeze-lts. I
compared the HTMLparser.c file from squeeze-lts (upstream version
2.7.8) with the HTMLparser.c file in unstable (upstream version 2.9.2)
with regard to the proposed patch [1] for fixing this (#782985) bug.
The HTMLparser.c file is very similar in all current libxml2 versions
in Debian and hasn't much changed since it got uploaded to squeeze.
Thus, all versions of libxml2 in Debian seem to be currently affected.
The existing patch [1] still has not been signed of by the libxml2
upstream maintainer(s), though [2].
Mike
