Neither do I, but whoever decides to fix this in unstable (be it
the real maintainer or a NMU) should probably take this in account:

i.e. the fixed package will probably land in the NEW queue, which will
require intervention from ftp-masters.

The security team might be specially interested in having Bug #760206
fixed some day, because it is a real pain.
