Just in case, did you verify if those build problems were already
reported as FTBFS bugs in those packages?

I don't know if they are many and I don't want to impose extra work on
you, but specially if you still have the build logs around, perhaps
you could verify and submit FTBFS attaching the logs, so there are
some chances of fixing those problems earlier (they'll be catched at
some point, but still...).
