Hi,
Because I now saw this several times, a short comment about this issue:
When you update packages, that cannot be built at the moment
(gchempaint/gnome-chemistry-utils) or are delayed for valuable reasons
(openbabel) or are pre-releases (AFAIK garlic/garlic-doc) I would really
recommend to not update the packaging files in unstable/. Consider the
situation, that someone detects a crash in e.g. gchempaint. I have to
fix it in the 0.6 tree, because I cannot package the 0.8 tree. But I now
cannot do this, because unstable/ already contains updates to package
0.8. For these cases: Please (svn) copy the tree from unstable/ to
experimental/ and begin to make your changes there. It's very easy to
merge your changes back into the unstable tree, when packaging of the
version in the experimental tree becomes possible.
I will try to catch up on doing this at least for
gchempaint/gnome-chemistry-utils today.
Regards, Daniel
