Deleting the settings file doesn't make any differnce but i just noticed
this error when starting in terminal:


QStackedLayout::setCurrentWidget: Widget 0xc16fe0 not contained in stack
do_wait: drmWaitVBlank returned -1, IRQs don't seem to be working
correctly.
Try adjusting the vblank_mode configuration parameter.
libpng warning: Ignoring attempt to set cHRM RGB triangle with zero area


so it seems to be an intel driver problem not an avogadro one.
