Well, but that's not the current state of affairs, I believe s390x is
currently the last port with mpich as default MPI implementation, and
that one has mpich, not mpich2:

I think x32 should be fixed to build the latest blacs/scalapack first,
if the problem persists then, I'm willing to see about arch-specific
exceptions.
