oh, well...

That's what will happen: once that upload will be ACCEPTed a build will
be tried, and (given that the most probably the old gsl will still be
here as cruft, most probably), it'll be built again with the old
version.

If I were you I'd do another upload on top of what is NEW switching the
build-dep, so once it'll be accepted there will be no need to fix this
again (also note that if you don't fix this in a subsequent upload or
incorporate the NMU the versioning tracking of the BTS will think this
is still open, and hold the testing migration).

If you do so I'd be happy to ask the ftp team to have a look at this
package.  2+ months for a binNEW is quite a lot...

I don't mind my NMU being overwritten or not incorporated, but this
needs to be eventually fixed somehow :)
