I just uploaded garlic and pushed the repository to Git.  For the
conversion I needed to adapt my usual script.  If you want to do
more conversions I've commited it here:

(well, I agree it does not really belong to Debian Med but there I'm
maintaining a working authors file - feel free to move it somewhere else
if you are interested.)
 
I'll continue with ghemical and I'm tempted to migrate rdkit as
well (see #872246).
