Hi Sandro,

Only that the fixes are in the beta branch for the next upstream
release, and it's scheduled for a stable release in January.  Also,
right now the experimental build fails on four release architectures
(and 11 port architectures!), so it's not quite ready for an upload to
unstable, if it can't later migrate to testing.

I haven't looked into the upstream code changes yet, but there was only
one specific part of the documentation build that relied on python2 in
the earlier versions - I'll see if I can backport that more quickly.
