Seems to be fixed upstream in 0.7.0, building and testing of the updated 
package [1] succeeds. Python tests have to be invoked manually due to 
their removal in the updated package [2]. However, 0.7.0 should not be 
uploaded as it breaks a bunch of reverse dependencies [3].
