Hello,

I patched configure.in to make the build pass the configuration stage, 
but it fails later on:

state_text.cc: In member function 'int sc::StateInText::read(char*)':
state_text.cc:145:6: error: no match for 'operator>>' (operand types are 
'std::istream' {aka 'std::basic_istream<char>'} and 'char*')

   • there are 34 candidates
     state_text.cc:145:6:
       145 |   in >> s;
           |   ~~~^~~~

I do not have the resources to debug this further. The patch is pushed 
to salsa.
