[Fingerforce-devel] Work planned this month for upgradation of FVS

Hi Xerakko,
 
I have started working on Reconnection of Fingerprint Ridges Based on Morphological
Operators and Multiscale Directional Information. We have developed the matlab code for this, some final part is remained. We will test this with basic database and if results seem encouraging we will add this to fingerforce. Also I am planning to add alternative frequecy domain fingerprint image enhancement code in fvs. We will start this once we rae through the first work planned.
 
Can you guide me in buying AES2501 scanner. Is it usb based? How is the reliability of the images scanned. I mean Does the FVS perform better with AES2501 than other scanner?
 
Which scanner you suggest for better images?
