Hi Martin && Andreas!
I'm aware that UPEK's driver has this unexpected behaviour from time to
time, but would be a little surprised to see it failing all the time.
Can you launch fprint-demo from a terminal and attach any error reported?
Above from that, could you try version 20080303git-4 (and double check
having libusb 1.0-x, just in case)?
