Thank you for the notification, Lucas.
I just saw that Ulises took again possession of this bug, but I should
add that the fprint overall situation seems a mess...
The upstream website at <http://www.reactivated.net/fprint/> does not
seem to be updated since 2009, but the mailing list still shows traffic
<http://news.gmane.org/gmane.linux.fprint>. Digging into the mailing
list I found out that development moved to freedesktop.org:
<http://news.gmane.org/find-root.php?message_id=%3c1296487338.7756.12.camel%40novo.hadess.net%3e>
<http://news.gmane.org/find-root.php?message_id=%3c1282231692.3405.40.camel%40localhost.localdomain%3e>
Basically, everything must be based on the freedesktop.org resources:
<https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libfprint/>
<https://bugs.freedesktop.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=libfprint>
<https://people.freedesktop.org/~hadess/>
IMHO we should move away ASAP from libpam-fprint (deprecated) to fprintd
and then check if the libpam-fprint's bugs are still valid:
<http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?src=pam-fprint>
Another good thing would be to check the bugs in the Fedora wiki page:
<https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/Fingerprint>
Thx, bye,
Gismo / Luca
