If by "actual" you mean what is the daemon I intended for above 
composition then (obviously) it is the one that I mention explicitly: 
prosody.

If you packages one-by-one then APT may resolve dependencies using 
alternatives than those listed above and you need to then manually 
remove those again.  Similarly if you install on top of an existing rich 
Debian installation then some dependencies might already be satisfied by 
alternatives and again you may need to remove those explicitly to reach 
a sensible result.

If by "actual" you try interpret what has been "decided" as most proper 
daemon to use for FreedomBox, it makes little sense at the current 
stage: We need more experimentation about combination of packages and 
configs and use cases.  We need *YOU* to help with that ;-)

Oh, well - above was way too optimistic.  I am still fighting with Boxer 
and will post here on the list when it works as intended.

Boxer being broken should however *not* stop anyone from helping out: 
Please do share package selections and config snippets, similar to the 
example described earlier in this thread!
