Hi folks, just tried Bdale's Freedom-maker project on my Dreamplug this
weekend and wanted to compare notes with anybody else who's tried this.

Overall, it's a pretty good experience.  The biggest change I'd make is
to add a few additional packages to the default installation (dialog,
locales, and apt-utils(?)).  A lot of other packages seemed to want
those around during installation/configuration.

I ran into two issues while setting up the box: first, the resolvconf
and ifupdown packages weren't configured correctly, which meant that the
system couldn't connect to a DHCP server and that the loopback interface
was down.  That caused a couple problems (I couldn't install
mysql-server until lo was back up), but that was fixed by a quick ``dpkg
- --configure -a; ifdown lo; ifup lo`` as I recall.  I used the JTAG to do
that, otherwise the box has no network connectivity to allow you to fix
it.  The other issue was that a default locale wasn't correctly
configured (solved by ``apt-get install locales; dpkg-reconfigure
locales``).  Misconfigured locales seem to cause strange errors in Trac.

I tried running my setup scripts on the box after it finished installing
and everything (other than Trac) works.  Setting up Trac projects has
changed, and I need to build out those changes.  Also, Trac doesn't play
nicely with Apache for some reason (but, tracd serves files happily).
I'm still trying to figure that one out and I'm not finding any useful
error messages anywhere.

I've also made a few changes [0] to Bdale's Freedom-maker [1], mostly to
break out the files copied to the Dreamplug into their own directory
(that way looks cleaner).  Bdale, would you mind pulling my changes?  :)
