[Freedombox-discuss] consumer NAS is getting more powerful

I see e.g. PLX-NAS7820 (dual core, 750 GHz, <12 W total) rolled out in
1.5 TByte consumer NAS, selling for 100 EUR. No doubt such trend will
continue.

Integrated devices have the additional advantage of offering enough
storage for a p2p dyi cloud. Flash is nice, but it will be a while until
a few TBytes are available in a 100 EUR total price bracket.
