Hi FreedomBoxers, I need your help. In an effort to get my hands on a
real DreamPlug and domain name sooner than I'd be able to otherwise (and
to gauge and create interest), I've applied for a micro-grant through a
new micro-granting organization in my area . Everybody who attends
the event puts $10 into the grant pot, and every attendee gets a vote
where the grant money goes. With a $200 grant, I could purchase a
domain name and a DreamPlug about 3 - 4 months sooner than I'd otherwise
be able to.
What I need from you guys is to review my grant presentation before I
present it at September 18th, 6 PM (EST). The presentation is available
in an encrypted archive , with password:
Now, I'm trying to refine the final message and presentation. I'd
appreciate feedback on:
- - Is the message useful and encouraging? How could it be improved?
- - Is it accessible to non-Linux gurus? Where is it technobabble?
- - Is it technically correct? Why or why not?
- - Is what I plan to do with the grant money obvious?
Thanks for your time,
