The media in WebRTC/RTCWEB is sent peer-to-peer but there is nothing new here as
this is already how VoIP works (modulo the fricking SBCs). Webrtc/RTCWEB goal
is to standardize how these peer-to-peer media are managed in a browser and it
is not even a goal to make multiple Web domains interoperable, just to ensure
that a single domain can use different browsers with the same Javascript code.
The Web is more or less a TV with a very big remote control, do not expect any
of this improving anything for privacy, user control or any of the stuff that
people on this list care about.
