Sorry - I didn't mean to say that Plinth constraints have affected 
FreedomBox as a whole - on the contrary:

Possibly James Vasile had in mind the quality of being cross-platform 
not only at compile-time but also at runtime, when choosing Python as 
implementation language for Plinth.
