Hi

Yes it's that time of year again - time for a quick update.

The last 6 months have been hugely exciting for us first with the
development and launch of DirectID, and very recently securing of both
the funding and strategic support to scale up our user acquisition
strategy globally. Seeing DirectID gain such immediate traction is also
exciting and while we can't talk about many of the projects already
integrating, it’s the plug and play nature of the service that combines
both bank verified identities, bureau data and live financial data that
is proving game changing for many of these businesses.

It’s still early days though and I would love your feedback on the
service which you can find out more about at

This follows nicely our work with NSTIC in the US, alongside a number of
public sector projects and as reflected in our shortlisting on the
FinTech Innovators and FS Tech Awards. The level of activity across the
board continues to increase and it is great to see the economy and market
really starting to pick up. So many great things are happening both for
us and some of the brilliant companies we work with.

Trust in Digital Life is also continuing to build momentum and seeing
great interest from the market especially as industry demands, consumer
pains and regulatory requirements continue to increase. We are now
running yearly sprints and continue to look for engagement from European
companies. You can find out more about Trust in Digital Life or have a
look at our updated flyer. But if you want to find out more or are
interested in getting involved let me know and I'll introduce you to the
team.

As for things closer to home there have been some very exciting things
happening as the market in general continues to build. Now more than ever
we are seeing a huge demand for trust online through a consumer centric
identity service. This update on the top 50 online identity stories from
late last year shows just how big the issue is. You may also be
interested in our recent market update on online identity too.

Edinburgh itself is going from strength to strength and seeing quite the
increase in positive activity. This was one of the reasons I got involved
in StartEDIN and I'm happy to say that things are building very nicely.
We have our first Members Meetup, Alumni event in London and are even
starting to advertise Edinburgh on the Heathrow Express for the month of
March. More is planned but we need the support of the community get
involved! Find out more from the most recent newsletter.

I'll stop there as I could go on, as you know, forever. These are hugely
exciting times and with so much going on its sometimes hard to keep in
touch but please do if there is something I can help with or you want to
talk about.

Thanks and I'm sure we will talk soon.

James
