[Freedombox-discuss] Setting up VirtualBox test environment. Missing dependency, and 404.

Hi,

I have set up a VM (VirtualBox) where I installed debian testing.

After

git clone https://github.com/freedombox/Plinth

Per the INSTALL file I installed the dependencies listed there but after

sudo python3 setup.py install

running 

sudo plinth

returns an error: missing file 'firewall-cmd' which is part of package
firewalld, so this dependency needs to be added to the list in the INSTALL
file.

After that, there were no errors.  Plinth said "ENGINE Serving on
http://127.0.0.1:8000"

but pointing the browsers to http://localhost:8000 results in this:

konqueror: "The requested operation could not be completed File or
		Folder Does Not Exist"

firefox: blank page.

chromium: "This localhost page can't be found" (HTTP ERROR 404)

I'll keep trying whatever I can think of tomorrow, but does anyone have
a suggestion?  Thanks.
