[Freedombox-discuss] SSH Connection refused (0.44.0) FreedomBox (Beagle Bone Black)

I was able to induce this bug with VirtualBox. I started with Stable and attempted to upgrade to testing with the directions in the Q&A. After reboot, I got the same errors I note in my first blog. With console access, I stopped firewalld and was able to ping, ssh into, and have web access to plinth. /var/log/firewalld says:

2018-12-17 02:09:46 ERROR: Failed to apply rules. A firewall reload might solve
the issue if the firewall has been modified using ip*tables or ebtables.
2018-12-17 02:09:46 ERROR: '/usr/sbin/nft insert rule inet firewalld raw_PREROUT
ING_ZONES iifname tun+ goto raw_PRE_internal' failed: Error: syntax error, unexp
ected junk, expecting end of file or newline or semicolon
insert rule inet firewalld raw_PREROUTING_ZONES iifname tun+ goto raw_PRE_intern

I don't know if this is what's happening on my BeagleBone Black, since I don't have the ability to connect connect a monitor.

Any suggestions?
