Hello,
Tried again and this time I think the problem is in bepasty. All the
previous steps still have sound.
This is a video recorded with mythtv, DVR software www.mythtv.org.
When played with smplayer, there is sound. Then I extracted a clip from
the show with kdenlive and the clip still had sound. Then I converted
it to SD with the following command (part of a script):
ffmpeg -i $1 -vf "scale='min(640,iw)':-2" -c:v libx264 -preset medium -crf 23 -c:a copy -movflags +faststart $DEST/$SDFILE
It still had sound when played with smplayer. But when imported into
bepasty, no sound. This is what mediainfo reports for the clip:

Is this a limitation of bepasty? should I give some specific option to
make the video compatible with bepasty?
Thanks.
