<p>One good thing about dictators&#39; switching off mobile phone networks is at least it stops android phones&#39; potential to sell out activists!  A distinction from Iphone&#39;s  seeming to actually compromise pro-democracy people in Iran!  </p>

<p>If a user controlled mesh network can stay up at least in crowded protest areas, progressive activists have a good chance of bringing repression to an end in their neck of the woods. :)</p>
