I have merged the patch for fixing the connections problem. However, I 
don't think we should apply the patch for logging. I wrote about it[1].

I will also be working to upload the latest upstream version of pagekite 
soon. In the meantime, please feel free to do an NMU with the fix. I 
also added you to the repository with Developer access in case you want 
to commit to the repository or do a normal maintainer upload.
