Hello,

As requested, here is a small abstract and a short bio to respond to the 
call for presantation for loadays. http://loadays.org/

I would be glad to represent the fusioninventory project at loadays.
Small abstract :

Fusioninventory is a modular agent which is originally based on the 
merge of the unix agent developed for the OCSInventory-ng project, and 
of the tracker agent developed for the Tracker plugin for GLPI. The 
purpose of the project is to propose a single agent which can do several 
tasks like : the inventory of hardware and software parts of an asset, 
snmp discovery and monitoring of the network assets, software 
deployment, wake on lan. FusionInventory project aims to be be a bridge 
between major FreeSoftware we want to see more integrated (GLPI through 
the Tracker plugin, GOSA, OPSI and FAI).

Bio of the project :

New project born from the merge of the unix agent developed for the 
OCSInventory-ng project, and of the tracker agent developed for the 
Tracker plugin for GLPI. The project is interested in the contribution 
coming from external projects (unattended-gui, gosa² ...).

About myself :

I'm a system administrator grown within the free software community. I 
perform in multiplatform environments where Linux, *BSD, MacOS X, 
Windows are present. My heart beats for FLOSS. I have  a great interest 
in assets inventory, sofware deployment and configuration management.
