Dears ,

First i would like to thank you for your efforts .I need some help with
some questions :

Our IT department is looking to obtain a patch management tool . and so far
we are aiming to go with fusion inventory and integrate it with GLPI rather
than buying SCCM and SCOM as they are expensive . several questions have
been raised :

-Is fusion inventory capable to be integrated with Microsoft windows
service updates in order to download Microsoft patches automatically and
push it to other clients in the network ?

-Can fusion inventory download and list other applications recommended
updates and security updates for example :flash player and java ?

- What is the programming language that we need to learn in order to
professionally use the tool , and what is the language of the source code ?

-is fusion inventory the right tool to perform automated patch management
and deployment in a large environment , if not any suggestions please ?

-How secure is fusion inventory and how well it can integration with
Microsoft environment better than SCOM and SCCM for example .

- Basically are there other reasons or statements that makes fusion
inventory better than SCOM and SCCM when it comes to patch management in
particular ?

Thanks in advance for your help and appreciate your response on the
mentioned questions .

regards,
