Hi,<br><br>The 2.0 agent has got on a lot of dependencies. While it&#39;s good to reuse existing composant, most of them are only useful for a specific task whereas most of our users only do inventory. To reduce the cost of a basic installation I want to split the agent this way:<br>
<br>fusioninventory-agent<br> - inventory and task with only dependency in Perl 5.8 distribution (WakeOnLan)<br>fusioninventory-agent-task-ocsdeploy<br>fusioninventory-agent-task-netdiscovery<br>fusioninventory-agent-task-snmpquery<br>
<br>Each sub-module should have its own sub-project on LaunchPad.<br><br>In my opinion, It&#39;s think better to do that now before we do the DEB/RPM/whatever packaging and that&#39;s why I want to do it quickly. what about a 2.1 release before the end of the march for that?<br>
