Hi,

I'm resurrecting this old thread cause i think that my question is somewhat
related to.

So, i'm running GLPI 0.84 and i confirm that the FusionInventory agent
(version ~2.3.15) correctly get the "Asset Tag" from the computer BIOS and
display it in the GLPI "bios_assettag" field. Great !

But i'm just wondering why this information isn't displayed in the
"Inventory number" field in GLPI (attribute "otherserial" in the
glpi_computers table) which seems to be dedicated to that ?
And do you know what would be the best way to do that please :-) ?

Thanks.
Regards,
