Not sure what to tell you. The output looks OK, but it sounds like  
the device is not reporting any error conditions (if the output is  
the same when it does not work properly).

Windows generally does the equivalent of a "hid_set_idle()" call, so  
you might want to check the usbsnoopy log for things like that.
