Compile error and patch

Hi,
I tried to compile libkdtree on Debian stretch using "gcc version 6.2.0
20161010 (Debian 6.2.0-6)", it failed (log attached).
I fixed it and attached the patch.
The latest commit I can see is from Nov 23 2010, is
git://git.debian.org/git/libkdtree/libkdtree.git the correct url?
