Hi Michael,
just came across

and think it's great idea. Would be awesome to have this as a service
that checks builds automatically (and ideally fires up the autopkgtests
as well).

During Debconf I started on s.th. related: a service that would import
new upstream versions (via uscan), rebase the patches and check if the
package still builds and passes it's autopkgtests (no code released
yet).
