OK, I changed 
	deb http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ squeeze main
to
	deb http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ squeeze main non-free
contrib
in /etc/apt/sources.list.

Also I had to run 
	apt-get update

Now it works -- thanks!
